Although DICE has said that it won't support private matches at launch, this doesn't mean that the feature will be nonexistent.
It just means that it won't be featured at launch.
So we could see private matches implemented in the future of Star Wars Battlefront.
Still, it's no doubt a bummer for those who wanted to play only with their friends.
Also, DICE has previously stated that they will not feature a dedicated chat system or server browsers on consoles.
Additionally, Star Wars Battlefront happened to be largest played beta in the history of EA and it will cost $110 to buy all of the game.
On top of that, EA has announced that they will be re-balancing Star Wars Battlefront Walker Assault Mode.
