Star Wars: Battlefront - Walker Assault Mode Deemed "Unbalanced"

One thing that most of us noticed on Star: Wars Battlefront Beta was how hard it was win on Walker Assault mode playing as a Rebel.

If you were apart of this mayhem, DICE has heard and DICE is going to "balance" this issue.

Here is what lead multiplayer designer Dennis Brannvall and community manager Mathew Everett had to say on the subject:

The official EA Star Wars Twitter has said that there will be one map on each of the four planets that you play that support Walker Assault Mode.

But, then again, what is the point in a beta if you're not going to test or modify anything?

In the massive 40-player Walker Assault Mode, the Rebel side tries to destroy Imperial AT-ATs by securing outposts to call in Y-Wing Bomber Support. Meanwhile, Empire forces are trying to destroy those outposts and escort their AT-ATs deeper into Rebel territory.

As you can see, the Rebels have a significant disadvantage.

Although DICE has mentioned that it will change and "balance" the Walker Assault Mode, they have not clearly mentioned how they will change it.

Battlefront's beta ended on October 13, and attracted 9 million players across all 3 platforms and which is called the "Largest in the History of EA."

In other news, EA has announced that Battlefront will be getting four new expansion packs that you can buy through the game's $50 expansion packs.

What are your thoughts on the balancing of Walker Assault Mode?
